SCHOOLCHILDREN from across Bracknell took part in a rugby festival at Birch Hill Recreation Ground.
Pupils braved unfriendly weather as they battled it out for top prize, with Whitegrove Primary School winning a thrilling final.
Last year's finalists came top of Group B and remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, beating Warfield by nine tries to five.
A total of 27 schools took part on the day, with Group C proving to be the most evenly-fought.
All six sides managed to win one or more games, with Crown Wood, Crowthorne, Binfield and Uplands all fighting for a knockout place.
Uplands were the eventual winners of the group, closely followed by Binfield.
