A SCHOOL in Bracknell is putting a 'temporary solution' to a technical issue after their newly installed heating system failed to work.
Bracknell News was contacted by an anonymous source that said Whitegrove Primary school may close, but the head is reassuring parents that the school will stay open as usual.
Karen Davis, headteacher at the school said: "We are not there yet, we've got temporary heating solutions in place but as a technical issue its not been an easy one.
"My role is to make sure children are safe and do the very best to ensure the school remains open - it is only a last resort that we would close the school."
The statement on the school's website says the 'system is unreliable and we cannot maintain adequate room temperatures in the school'.
Parents can be assured that their child will be attending school tomorrow as normal.
