LEARNING opportunities for secondary school students will be significantly improved thanks to a donation of virtual reality (VR) headsets.
Pupils at Bohunt School received the devices from Redrow Homes and these have already proven to be hugely popular.
The five state-of-the-art headsets are useful in a range of subjects and help the children to be better prepared when considering future careers beyond secondary school.
Nick Thomas, assistant head teacher of achievement and progress, said: “We are extremely grateful to Redrow Homes for the generous donation of the VR headsets.
"The students are really looking forward to getting stuck into the world of VR.
"We have got various plans and ideas of how the headsets will provide alternative platforms to enhance learning experiences across the STEM subjects and other curriculums through the year groups.”
