A TEAM of police officers saved the day after a birthday boy's party bus failed to arrive for the special occasion.
Anna Banyard, from Warfield, used the Jungle Party Bus before and said how it was previously a 'roaring success' and so she decided to order it again for her son’s birthday.
She said: “Alexander is autistic and buses are his favourite thing. It was such a disappointment for him when they didn’t turn up. They ruined the day.”
Anna’s friend Stephanie Cook put a post out on Twitter and shortly after, Bracknell officers from Thames Valley Police turned up to their house in a riot van and allowed the children to play inside it.
Stephanie said: “They got to put the lights on, played with the sirens and the police even took pictures with the kids and had some cake.
“It’s just so generous and kind-hearted of them.”
