SHOPPERS were urged not to use a car park after a vehicle fire was reported to the emergency services.
Firefighters from Ascot and Wokingham Fire Stations were sent to the Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, at around 10.20am on Monday.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a car fire and on arrival found that the blaze had already been extinguished.
A spokesman said: "Firefighters found the fire was out on arrival so no action was needed.
"The incident was then handed over to Thames Valley Police (TVP)."
It is not yet known what caused the fire to start.
A spokesman for TVP added: "We were initially called at around 10.25am to the multi-storey carpark at The Lexicon.
"For any other enquiries please contact Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service."
