HEROIC off-duty police officers saved a man from drowning while they were on a family holiday in Turkey.
Police constables Jon and Stacey Wildridge have been commended for their bravery after pulling a man to the shore and performing CPR on the man.
Mr Wildridge, who is based at Bracknell, used his training to assist the man until an ambulance arrived and the pair have been branded as 'heroes on holiday' by Thames Valley Police.

Whilst in Turkey last week, PC Wildridge swam into the sea & helped save a person's life.
The male was unconscious & PC Wildridge swam him back to shore & did CPR for 20 mins until the ambulance arrived.

He said: "If it was not for the assistance of my wife, I would not have been able to get the man out.
"Stacey also swam into the water with me and supported me in addition to what she did with the man's wife. Team effort."
Mrs Wildridge, who is based in Slough, looked after the distressed wife, the force explained.
