Rail services between Slough and Paddington should be getting back to normal this morning - but travellers hoping to get to Maidenhead or Twyford could still have problems.
Only one of the four lines linking Slough to London is still affected - it is still closed to electric trains, which is affecting the stopping service.
Yesterday's chaos happened after damage was caused to 500 metres of overhead power cables during a test run by the new Hitachi London to Bristol fast train.
