A PROJECT to rebuild Great Hollands Pavilion has taken a huge step in the right direction.
Bracknell Town Council staff have been visiting the site recently and were shown the layout of the new-look hall and café.
The building is starting to take shape, with external walls now in place at the facility in Great Hollands.
Work is expected to start soon on an accessible water feature and play equipment.
Councillor Chris Turrell said: "It is good to see this exciting new building taking shape. Councillors were impressed with the progress they saw on the site visit. Further work is now underway.”
The town council apologised for the limited facilities at the site and advised residents to enjoy many of the other parks and recreation grounds in Bracknell while the works were being carried out.
