A CARE service has been praised by the care quality commission after a recent inspection.

Optalis Extra Care Berkshire provides personal care and support to around 60 individuals, and can range from help with personal care to domestic tasks.

Inspectors from the CQC commented in their report on the personalised care and support that meets the needs of customers, and that patients were treated with respect and dignity.

One customer told the CQC: “I have settled in well and am happy here. All the staff are very helpful, friendly and willing to help with any task. I am perfectly happy with the overall service."

Helen Woodland, Optalis Assistant Director of provider services said: “It’s a whole team approach that has led to our positive CQC result and we are very proud that we have scored Good across all areas of the inspection."
