A BESTSELLING author will discuss her illustrious writing career at a special at Wokingham Library later this month.

Anna Jacobs,who writes historical sagas and modern relationship novels, will be discussing her work with visitors at the Denmark Street library on Thursday, August 23.

The writer, whose latest work 'One Kind Man' is the second instalment of her Lancashire-based saga, is popular with library users and was recently named the fourth most borrowed adult author in UK libraries.

Her novel 'Pride of Lancashire' won the Australian Romantic Book of the Year Award 2006, and 'The Trader's Wife,' 'Like No Other,' 'Our Lizzie,' 'Tomorrow's Promises,' 'Bright Day Dawning,' and 'The Corrigan Legacy' have also been previously shortlisted.
