CHILDREN from a Montessori school in Ascot have celebrated the end of their time at nursery with a graduation ceremony.
Youngsters from Storybook Montessori Nursery School, in the High Street, donned caps to collect their scrolls during the graduation ceremony, which was witnessed by more than 120 parents, children and staff.
The nursery made the most of the great weather by holding the celebrations outdoors, with music and Teddy Tennis, as well as raising £250 for Daisy's Dream.
Mary Brosnan, Founder of Storybook Montessori said: "We’re so proud of how the children have progressed during their time here at Storybook Nursery and we wish them all the best as they start in big school this September.
"2017 saw us welcome 48 children through the doors of Storybook and this year we have welcomed 65 children and a teaching team of 24. I’m delighted that the school has continued to flourish and so have our children and staff. 2018 has proved another busy year for us, as we also underwent our first formal Ofsted Inspection. Our Ofsted rating was Good and we are now aiming towards Outstanding.”
Parent Stephanie Ceboni said: "With its small class sizes and warm welcome at reception, Storybook has proved a hit with my children Luna and Valentino who thrive in the village themed classrooms.”
