A PENSIONER tragically died after a crash between a Ford Fiesta and a motorbike. 

On Saturday June 30 at 9.30am, a blue Ford Fiesta collided with a black Honda VFR motorbike along the A3095, Maidenhead Road, Bracknell, at the entrance to the Moss End Garden Centre.

A 74-year-old woman, who was the passenger in the car, was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital where she passed away.

Her next of kin has been informed. 

The driver of the Ford Fiesta was not injured, and the rider of the motorcycle, a 54-year-old man, was taken to Royal Berkshire.

He was treated for minor injuries before being discharged.

Investigating officer, police constable Mark Dunne, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family of the woman who sadly died in this collision.

“We would like anyone who saw what happened to please come forward, especially anyone with dash cam footage.
