THE MAYOR visited the Winkfield St Mary's school to open a garden named after a former teaching assistant.
Councillor Alvin Finch, Mayor of Bracknell Forest, visited the school on Winkfield Row to open up the new school garden.
The garden, named 'The Mrs Swain Garden', took two years to complete, and used money raised from fundraising events and the Tesco Warfield donation scheme.
The garden was named after the former reception teaching assistant, who sadly lost her battle with cancer last year.
