WITNESSES are being sought after a car was stolen from a house in Harmans Water.

Between 12.55pm and 3.45pm on Wednesday, May 2, offenders broke into a house in Pankhurst Drive. At least one offender is believed to have climbed into an enclosed rear garden before smashing the glass in a rear door to gain access to the house.

The property was searched and a number or items were stolen, including the victim's white Mercedes 250 which had been parked on the driveway.

Police believe the offenders may have arrived on the scene using a grey or silver Peugeot people carrier-type vehicle.

Investigating officer Claire Morgan of the Crime Investigation Hub based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43180132206.
