THE MAYOR of Bracknell was on hand to welcome the newest addition to Crowthorne's busy high street last week.

The Little Crow's Nest, a home design and accessories boutique, opened its doors for the first time on Thursday (April 19) to a crowd of curious shoppers.

The Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Cllr Tina McKenzie-Boyle cut the ribbon on the new shop, which specialises in furniture and accessories from around the world.

Owner Lindsey Philpott said: "They were queuing to get in the shop which was brilliant. Lets hope it continues.

"It was great to meet so many people and Crowthorne residents and the Mayor did an excellent job of cutting the ribbon. We couldn't have hoped for a better afternoon."
