AN ASPIRING actor and model stood in a dock before magistrates today (Saturday) charged with the murder of a father.

Liam Turner, 28 and of Spencer Road, Reading, spoke only to confirm his name and age before the charge was read out to him.

It comes after 42-year-old Miroslaw Januszkiewicz was found in London Road, Bracknell, with life-threatening injuries in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The “much loved” father was rushed to The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment but he was later pronounced dead, sparking a full scale murder probe.

Short-haired Turner, who describes himself as an actor, model and TV extra online, did not enter a plea and will appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, April 17.

Tina Flannery, prosecuting at Reading Magistrates’ Court, said: “The case is ready to be sent to crown court.

“The issue of bail will be dealt with there.”

Turner, who wore a black hooded jumper, bowed his head into his hands as the prosecutor read out details of the case.

He faces a single count of murder.

The chairman of the bench added: “As you have heard we cannot deal with this case. You will appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, April 17.”

Family members, who sobbed in court today, spoke of their grief in the wake of Mr Januszkuewicz’ death prior to the hearing.

Mr Januszkuewicz died in hospital

A tribute reads: "It is with deep sadness that a much loved brother, son, father, uncle and dear friend has passed away.

"Born and raised in Poland but a resident of Bracknell from 2013 he had many friends and touched the hearts of many more. He was very kind and a real gentleman.

"Miroslaw Januszkiewicz faced many life challenges but had a good heart full of love and possessed many special qualities that made him a great person. We all love him and he will be always in our hearts.”
