POLICE are hunting for teens who carried out an attempted robbery.

At 3.30pm on Friday (2/3) two males approached a group of six boys who were aged around 14 to15-years-old, behind the Tesco Express on Ascot High Street. The offenders demanded the victims empty their pockets.

Two of the victims were grabbed by the throat by the offenders and one victim was hit across the head. The victims then ran away to get help. Nothing was stolen.

The first offender is described as black, aged about 17-years-old and he was wearing a grey Northface puffa jacket and tracksuit trousers.

The second offender is white, again aged around 17-years-old and he had a red mask covering his face and was wearing a black rain jacket, tracksuit trousers and a black tracksuit top.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nicola Tompkins from Maidenhead Police Station, said: "This was a very frightening experience for the victims and I am appealing for anyone who saw this incident to get in touch with me quoting reference 43180065557.
