SHOPPERS at the Lexicon travelled in style during half term thanks to the shopping centre’s land train.
Not only did The Lexicon Express offer customers a fun way to get about, it also helped to raise £1,731 for the shopping centre’s charity of the year, Bracknell Gymnastics Club.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon said: “We were delighted that people had so much fun on The Lexicon Express and would like to thank everyone for their kind donations. It is definitely something we will look to bring back to The Lexicon in the future.”
Dr Peter Tranckle, club manager at Bracknell Gymnastics Club said: “We have been bowled over by people’s generosity. We will use the money raised to help our gymnasts meet the travel and accommodation costs when attending the European Championships in October.”
