A TEENAGE boy was brutally beaten up by a gang of youths while walking in Bracknell.
The helpless teenager was approached by the thugs between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on February 11 on Crowthorne Road.
One of the group grabbed him and put him in a headlock before punching him repeatedly in the head.
He was then thrown onto the road.
The boy did not recognise the attackers but described the main offender as a white male in his late teens and of muscular build.
He was around 6ft tall, wearing a bright yellow or orange coat with diagonal reflective stripes on it, with his hood up.
The injured teenager went to hospital with bruises and soft tissue damage.
Investigating officer, PC Adam Young based at Bracknell police station, said: "We are appealing for witnesses following this unprovoked and cowardly attack.
"This happened in the early evening last Sunday on a main road, not far from Mcdonald's which was very busy at the time.
"We would ask anyone who witnessed the assault, who might recognise the offender from the description to please get in touch.
"We would ask anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 43180045296."
