WORK on the M4 motorway between Wokingham and Reading are set to continue, transport chiefs have revealed.
Contractors are refurbishing the bridge that carries the link roads over the M4 and work began again this week after the Christmas break.
Narrow lanes and a 40mph speed limit are in place on the slip roads while a 50mph limit is in place on the main carriageway until April.
Work will also continue on the bridge which carries the motorway over the River Loddon.
Contactors are replacing the waterproofing material on the bridge.
Narrow lanes have been introduced while the work is carried out and a 50mph speed limit which covers both the east and westbound carriageways will stay in force until March.
