EXTENDED opening hours will help those who struggle to find time for the doctors.
Additional appointments are available to book in advance at the Boundary House Surgery.
On Mondays to Fridays, a doctor can been seen at the Mount Lane doctors from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, two hours later than usual.
The surgery will also be open on Saturdays from 8am to 2pm and shut on Sundays, despite usually being closed for the whole weekend.
Katerina Nash, senior commissioning manager for GP Access Fund for East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Groups, said: “The aim of offering additional appointments outside of normal general practices opening hours, which is part of a national programme, is to provide patients with more convenient access to general routine appointments.
"These additional appointments also to help relieve pressure in general practice and reduce the time spend by patients in hospital emergency departments when they can receive high quality care in the community.”
Those living to the east of Berkshire can also benefit from extended hours at Marks Hospital in Maidenhead and King Edward Hospital in Windsor, which will keep their doors open from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on weekdays.
Both will be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and St Marks 9am to 1pm on Sundays.
