TV COMEDIAN Johnny Vegas took a break from his filming schedule to visit the staff and residents of an Ascot nursing home last week.
The husky voiced surrealist was filming a show for UK TV Gold at the Ascot Priory when activities coordinator Sian Donovan-Phillips invited him to St David's Nursing Home.
Mr Vegas accepted the offer and went about spreading cheer throughout the Priory Road residence.
Mrs Donovan-Phillips explained: "He was filming at Ascot Priory across the road so we asked if he would come in and he did.
"He had pictures taken with everybody. The residents were having dinner when he came in.
"He went and talked to people in their bedrooms and was very funny. Just like he was on TV. Very down to earth."
