PLANS have been put forward to demolish a picturesque farm to make way for a new housing development.
North Lodge Farm on Forest Road may be the new site of a 19 home residential development if developer Christopher Chapman Associates is granted planning permission from Bracknell Forest Council.
The plans include affordable housing, associated access, open space and landscaping following the demolition of the existing buildings and structures.
The application states: "The development of the site at North Lodge Farm presents an important opportunity to replace existing and authorised uses with a residential development which will make an important contribution to housing land supply in the Borough.
The proposal is accompanied by an illustrative layout which demonstrates that the site is capable of accommodating 19 dwellings in a mix of styles and tenures, together with open space.
