A MAN in his late 20s died after a car crashed into a tree in Warfield.
A Subaru driving along Bishop's Lane left the road a crashed into a tree at around 9.10pm on Thursday, February 11.
Two male passengers were taken to hospital, one with life threatening injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision.
The deceased's next of kin have been informed although formal identification has not yet taken place.
David Gallagher, a spokesman for the South Central Ambulance Service, said: "There were two patients trapped in the car.
"We sent two land ambulances and the air ambulance. Both patients were taken to hospital in a land ambulance.
"The air ambulance crew travelled in the ambulance with the patient with life-threatening injuries."
Investigating Officer, Police Constable Dave Beeson, of the Serious Collision Investigation unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family at this very difficult time. ”
“We would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information that could assist the investigation to call the serious Collision Investigation Unit via Thames Valley Police 24 hour enquiry line101 quoting URN 1497. 11/2."
A 25-year-old man from Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
