HUNDREDS of commuters are stranded at Wokingham as a broken down train at Winnersh is expected to cause disruption until at least 9pm.
Trains are thought to be running again but delays are expected to last into the evening.
Services between Wokingham and Reading are not running as engineers battle to clear the line.
A broken down train at Winnersh is causing delays for rush hour commuters heading home from work this evening.
The 16.39 train, that runs between Reading and London Waterloo, is currently stuck at Winnersh due to a fault.
Most trains are terminating at Wokingham with some stopping further up the line at Ascot.
A spokesperson confirmed that delays are likely to be in place until 6.30pm but they are now expected to last until 21.00.
South West Trains have set up a replacement bus service calling at all stations between Wokingham and Reading.

They are warning that delays could have a knock-on impact on services to Gatwick.
