BARGAIN furniture giant The Range flung open its doors to Bracknell shoppers this morning, with a celebrity TV couple there to welcome them.

This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were the star guests of the day, turning up to the store's grand opening in order to film part of a documentary withChris Dawson, the chain's owner.

Bracknell town mayor Mark Phillips and store manager Paul Rozzell were on hand to cut the ribbon and welcome those queueing outside into the much-anticipated store. 

The two-storey store takes the place of the Tesco Homeplus which closed its doors at the end of June.

There are 80 employees at the new branch which stretches across 16 departments and includes a cafe. 

Owner Chris Dawson said: “We are excited to open our new store in Bracknell this morning. It was very positive to have so many people come and join the celebrations.

"I would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work in preparing for the opening and would like to welcome them to The Range team."
