The festive fundraiser kicks off on Sunday, November 30 and this year there is more than ever to get involved with at the Santa Spectacular.

The whole family can get involved in a Santa cycle or a Go Ape Santa swing while the more confident can attempt to dash, cycle and swing in the ultimate ‘Santathlon’. Susan Blues, Thames Hospice events fundraiser, said: “We hope more than 500 people will dash, cycle or tackle Go Ape in our Santa Spectacular and if you’re feeling fit and festive, we challenge you to take on all three! Let’s create the biggest sea of Santas in Berkshire.” All money raised through the event will support Thames Hospice. Last year 500 people raised £20,000 for the charity, which needs funds to continue its support of people living with a life-limiting illness and their families this Christmas. The day starts at 9am and everyone is encouraged to try out the new activities and raise as much money as possible for the charity.

Each adult entry gets a Santa suit, goodie bag and refreshments. Children entering Rudolph’s Fun Run will receive reindeer antlers and flashing noses. Dogs can join you in the Santa Dash, but do not need to be registered.
