Jaime Bishop, pictured below, has been crowned Regional Champion twice since starting to compete, and recently became British Number One at the national finals in Liverpool.
It will be the second year running he competes in the World Championships, and he is hoping to raise the profile of bodybuilding by returning to Britain as World Number One.
He said: “One of my hopes in competing and achieving my goal of becoming world champ is to help raise the profile of natural body building; to highlight it as an alternate sport and discipline for those truly looking to challenge and push their physique and fitness to the limits.
“Sadly, whether male or female, natural body building doesn’t quite get the coverage it deserves and I’d love to inspire more people to get involved.”
