Jerry Schilling One of Elvis Presley's closest friends and long term friend of Priscilla Presley as seen on ITV's Joanna Lumley - Elvis & Me is coming to the UK in December for three special appearances, an 'Evening With Jerry Schilling' and will be at South Reading Grosvenor Casino, on Thursday December 3.

Jerry a favourite special guest with Elvis Fans around the world will talk openly about his personal memories and experiences, that can only be told by a true and trusted friend. A friendship with the Presley family that spans 60 years; followed by an exclusive question and answer session with Fans.


Boyhood friends since 1954, from the Memphis football pitches; Elvis noticed the Young Jerry Schilling and the rest is history! A friendship was built over the following years which was never to fade, from parties at Elvis Presley's 'Graceland, to playing football.

Schilling’s long professional association with Elvis Presley began in 1964 when Jerry became a member of the famous 'Memphis Mafia'. Elvis brought him to Los Angeles as his personal aide, and Schilling worked in several capacities while continuing his studies in liberal arts and film at UCLA.
He started as Elvis’ movie stand in appearing in 8 of his movies, learning Hollywood from the ground up, but later branched out into the areas of public relations, film editing, and production on projects that Presley executively produced.

Jerry Schilling has spent most of his life in the music business, beginning at age 21 when he was hired by Elvis Presley. Jerry lived at Graceland for 10 years had a close bond with Elvis' father Vernon Presley and the Presley family; practically growing up alongside Priscilla.

Jerry served as Creative Affairs Director for Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE) for ten years. He negotiated the first contract between RCA and EPE since the death of Presley ten years earlier. He became the liaison to Elvis’ label RCA Records, making significant progress to make Elvis’ image and likeness available, which cleared the way for numerous feature films and TV projects that Schilling served as Produced on.

Today Jerry appears at selected Elvis events around the World sharing his stories and meeting the fans. The production of a new feature film 'The Last Train to Memphis' with Mick Jagger for 'Jagger Films' sees Jerry very much still involved in the Legacy of Elvis.
