Star of hit comedy programme Mock the Week, Delaney is famed for his close-to-the-knuckle gags and incredible comedic writing ability. His new tour focuses on puns and wordplay, something bound to be right up his street. Married to famous comedienne Sarah Millican, that must be one funny house this Christmas.

2 March: Ed Byrne

Another star of Mock the Week, Irishman Byrne is a king of observational comedy. Appearing on other hit programmes such as Live at the Apollo and QI, he is one of the biggest names in stand-up comedy. Having performed four UK-sell out tours, a hilarious night is guaranteed.

With a long list of television credits to her name, many would be forgiven for believing that she is an actress trying her hand at comedy. But no, stand-up is her ‘bread and butter’ and it is sure to be a show not to be missed.

11 March: Susie Dent: The Secret Lives of Words

Best-selling author and Dame Dictionary Corner herself, Susie Dent has been the quick-witted wordsmith on Channel Four daytime quiz Countdown since 1992. Sure to be a fact-filled, yet funny evening.

Getting her big break on Opportunity Knocks in 1975, Pam Ayres is a national treasure. Poetry, comedy, songwriting, there is nothing the Berkshire-born star cannot turn her hand to, and now she is touching down in Bracknell for you all to hear stories from fifty years in showbiz.

11 April: Shrek: The Musical

Based on the Box-Office smash hit film and Broadway musical, South Hill Park’s Shrek promises to be a family-fun adventure with all the loveable, and less-loveable, characters from the Dreamworks 2001 Oscar award-winner.

A show not to be missed by music, and Queen, lovers. Supreme Queen are one of the most successful tribute acts in the world, having performed for tens of thousands at a time. Scott Maley, aka Freddie Mercury, is simply breathtaking. Performing all the biggest hits, you won’t want to break free from this show.

26 June: Mark Watson

West-country comedian Mark Watson has done it all: Mock the Week, QI, Would I Lie to You and House of Games. Now in his 20th year of touring, he is one comedian you will simply belly-laugh with, and about, from start to finish.

13 July: The Gruffalo

‘There’s no such thing as a Gruffalo’, oh yes there is! Based on the 1999 Julia Donaldson children’s book, the Gruffalo is brought to life as the mouse makes the arduous journey into the woods, before coming across the Gruffalo. Spawning a Broadway musical and animated film, it should thrill and excite young and old.

November-December: Jack and the Beanstalk

Yes, that’s right, having just gotten over the fun of 2021’s pantomime, Cinderella, you can now book for 2022’s Jack and the Beanstalk. The much-told story of a young boy selling his cow for magic beans and climbing up a beanstalk will be brought to life in front of your very eyes next Christmas for a whole two-month spell.
