ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER COOMBE ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on 19th August 2020 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:
1. The temporary closure of Coombe Road will be implemented in three phases under a rolling programme and will only be in force as and when signed:
The temporary closure of Coombe Road between the western kerbline of Baden Road and eastern kerbline of Buller Road including the following side roads;
(a) Mafeking Road at its junction with CoombeRoad.
The temporary closure of Coombe Road between Buller Road and the western kerbline of Riley Road including the following side roads;
(b) Buller Road and Ewhurst Road at the junction of Coombe Road.
The temporary closure of Coombe Road between Riley Road and eastern kerbline of Dewe Road including the following side roads;
(c) Riley Road at its junction with Coombe Road
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to install new 33kv High Voltage ducting and
cable in the carriageway.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 24 August 2020 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
