ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (“the Council”)
proposes to make the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if they come into force
will introduce rapid electric vehicle charging points in the parts of the roads
identified:-

Zone A
• Robertson Road – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
• Wincombe Road – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
Zone C
• Ashton Rise – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Place Monday to Sunday
9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
• Queens Park Road – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces
an Electric Vehicle Charging point outside no.79/81
Zone F
• Osborne Road – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces
an Electric Vehicle Charging point
Zone H
• Portland Place – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point

• Queensway – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces an Electric
Vehicle Charging point

• Preston Park Avenue – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charing point
• Waldergrave Road – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces

• Adelaide Crescent South – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places
Monday to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charing

• Lansdowne Place – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking place Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point

• Norton Road – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces an Electric

• Tisbury Road – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking place Monday to Sunday
9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
Zone R
• Princes Avenue – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking place Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
• Stoneham Road – Amend Shared Permit/Paid Parking place Monday
to Sunday 9am to 8pm and introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point

• Bernard Place – Amend Permit Holders Only bays and introduces an Electric
Vehicle Charging point
BRIGHTON & HOVE OUTER AREAS (WAITING, LOADING AND
PARKING) AND CYCLE LANES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018
AMENDMENT ORDER NO. * 202* (REF: TRO-8B-2020)
• Hollingbury Rise – Introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
• Orchard Road – Introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
• Victoria Road – Introduces an Electric Vehicle Charing point
• Withdean Road – Introduces an Electric Vehicle Charging point
A copy of this Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the lengths of road
affected and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the
Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/tro-proposals.
All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must
be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they
are made and should be sent to the Executive Director Economy, Environment
& Culture, Brighton & Hove City Council Parking Infrastructure, Room G40,
Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference
number shown above or by e-mail to parking.consultation@brighton-hove.gov.uk
or online (see details above) no later than 31 July 2020.
