On Sunday, May 15, 1983, South Berkshire Music Centre held its inaugural concert at St Crispin's School, Wokingham.
The group, part of The Berkshire Young Musicians Trust, became Berkshire Maestros in 2006. To mark the 30th anniversary, Berkshire Maestros will stage two concerts at St Crispin's on Saturday, March 23: The Stars of Tomorrow at 2.30pm and Long Live The Music, including a finale by Corelli Orchestra, at 6.30pm.
