Jamie & The First Class to play Grosvenor G casino opening

Kings of the reworked cover version, Reading natives Jamies & The First Class will play the opening of the new Grosvenor G Casino tomorrow night (Friday, March 8).
The group's school themed show has delighted audiences worldwide, winning fans from every continent, with Jamie Goddard, who started his first band with First Class bassist Kevin at Desborough School in Maidenhead more than 20 years ago, at the helm.
The five-piece will perform songs from their last three. albums including their own versions of classic songs from the 50s to the present day.
Jamie said: "It is so brilliant to be back performing a local venue in the town I was born! Most shows we perform these days involve getting on a plane or spending a few hours in the tour bus. We are honoured to be the first band performing at such a fantastic new venue!"
Jamies & The First Class will be at Grosvenor G Casino, in Rose Kiln Lane, from 9pm.
