Lift Off with South Hill Park's dance extravaganza
DANCERS of all genres will be showing off their moves during South Hill Park's annual celebration of the art form.
Until Sunday, April 21, the Bracknell arts centre will be alive with diverse performances - from ballet to hip hop, and flamenco to bellydance. With local favourites Fuzzy Logic taking to the stage alongside community dance groups ACE Dance Company, Creative Academy, Zambesi Youth, The Hip Hop Replacements, BARTA, Senior West Berkshire Youth Dance Company, Jawahir Bellydance, 4MDT Youth Company, Indian Community Association Bracknell and Norden Exposure for the two jam-packed Youth And Community Galas there is sure to something for everyone's taste, whether dance novice or keen fan. The galas take place this Saturday, and Saturday, March 16.
The Schools Gala takes place on Friday, March 15, with performers from schools including Wellington College, Windsor Girls' School, Charters School, The Willink School, St Mary's Ascot and Winkfield St Mary's Primary School taking to the stage to wow family, friends, and the public.
Professional performers Amarita Vargas will put on a Flamenco Intimo Show on Thursday, March 21, while Ballet Black, pictured left, will premier exciting new ballet works from up-and-coming choreographers on Sunday, April 21.
Plus, don't miss screenings of dance films Zero Degrees and Sacred Monsters during March.
