AN edge-of-your-seat play which pushes the boundaries of youth's sexual exploration is being performed at South Hill Park, Bracknell.
Icarus Theatre's production of the classic German drama Spring Awakening, by Frank Wedekind, has been hailed as "[a] masterpiece" by the Sunday Express, "timeless" by the Evening Standard and "an astonishing, rich play" by What's On. The ground-breaking play deals with the sexually oppressive culture in Germany in the late 19th century, and the teenagers fighting the religious restrictions of their close-knit community.
Spring Awakening is at South Hill Park on Wednesday and Friday, February 1, at 7.30pm.
Icarus Theatre are also bringing another exploration of forbidden young love, Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet, to the same venue, on Thursday, January 31, and Saturday, February 2.
Tickets are £15 for Spring Awakening, which contains nudity and adult scenes, and £15 for Romeo And Juliet.
