Southern Tenant Folk Union are returning to South Street Arts Centre, Reading, on Saturday, with new album, Hello Cold Goodbye Sun. The band take their name from the groundbreaking multi-racial union of sharecroppers and non-landowning tenant farmers in Arkansas in the 1930s. And their music - featuring guitar, mandolin, clarinet, banjo, harmonica, bass and fiddle - is no less radical. Tickets £12 from www.readingarts.com or call 0118 960 6060.
