Debonair indie darling Miles Kane is set to play an intimate NME Awards Tour warm-up show in Reading on Tuesday, February 5.

Miles, co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets with Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner, and former frontman of The Rascals, will release his second album later this year, following the runaway success of debut record, Colour Of The Trap.

He will be joined at Sub89 by his band, drummer Jay Sharrock, guitarist George Moran, bassist Phillip Anderson and keyboard player Ben Parsons, performing new songs from the new record.

Miles' new single, Give Up, co-written with Kid Harpoon and produced by Ian Broudie (The Zutons, Echo and the Bunnymen), will be released digitally via iTunes on February 24, with a 7" format on February 25.

Tickets to the gig cost £12.50 from www.sub89.com or buy in person from Hard Edge or Urban Piercings in Reading town centre.
