AS PART of The Firestation's Games Walk Performance Festival, the internationally acclaimed dance company, VerTe Dance will give a dazzling performance of How Much Does Your Desire Weigh? on Monday.
VerTe Dance are a professional Czech dance company, formed in 2004. They have won multIple awards, including The Dancer of the Year Award in 2010 for their outstanding choreography and sensational performances. How Much Does You Desire Weigh? recently premiered at the Ponec Theatre in Prague and Monday will be their first visit to England to perform as part of the Inspire Mark-awarded Games Walk Performance Festival at The Firestation, Windsor.
The company's phenomenal production addresses the fascination with hidden beauty; the fascination with the power of hypocrisy; the effort to achieve satisfaction where there is no end: "To bare yourself, to undress, to reveal your emotions, to touch your own body, to get close to the core of yourself. Which of these is truly dangerous?"
