Hollywood on the Inside: All set on set

I just finished shooting a commercial with Katy Perry to promote her new movie 'A Part Of Me'. After meeting and chatting with Katy at the beginning of the year, I was really excited to actually book a job to work with her. When she arrived on set she even remembered meeting and chatting with me and that I was also a singer. She is as beautiful in 'real life' as she is on screen and her charm and wit went down a treat with all the cast and crew. She's clearly a huge talent but also a very special girl who brings life and laughter to all she meets The commercial is currently airing on Nickelodeon - please look out for it!
I'm also excited to announce that I recently wrapped a supporting role in mob musical comedy 'How Sweet It Is' with a tremendous cast including Joe Piscopo, Erika Christensen and Paul Sorvino.
The story focuses on down-and-out, alcoholic theatre owner, Jack (Piscopo) who needs a strong showing for his musical's opening night to dig himself out of debt with the mob. The mob boss (Sorvino) insists that his 'friends' (a bunch of misfits) get roles in the musical, which complicates things somewhat! I play the role of Kristina - a British teacher with anger management issues who turns out to be much more than anyone expected.
'How Sweet It Is' is directed by Brian Herzlinger (Baby On Board) from a script he co-wrote with Jay Black, and will be released December 7 this year. This movie is my most favourite to date! I couldn't dream of a better role where I get to show off not only my singing and dancing but such a range of emotions. I'm very proud to have been involved in this production and I can't wait for you to see it!
So what now? As I write this, I'm currently on set in Oklahoma shooting the next film. This movie is based on a true story and because of this, I'm unable to release much information on the movie itself! I can tell you however, that I play one of the female leads and I am writing this with another five days left on set before I head back to LA. More news on this soon! So it's all go here and I couldn't be happier to be working hard on set and most of all, I love what I do and it's been a really fun few months.
