They are now comprised of founding member Green Gartside, accompanied by Dicky Moore, Rhodri Marsden, and Hot Chip's Rob Smoughton. Following an acclaimed performance at Green Man festival in August, they are staging a series of one-off shows around the country.

FOLLOWING their success with critically acclaimed The Dumb Waiter, Reading Repertory Theatre has announced its packed inaugural season.

It begins in December with a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol, from December 24-January 2, followed by Strindberg's 19th century classic Miss Julie, from April 1-12, and finishes with John Osbourne's Look Back in Anger, from July 22-August 2.

Artistic director Paul Stacey said: "This inaugural season will give us the chance to cement our place as a major new producing house in the South East.. It's an amazing position to be in and stands as testament to Reading's appetite for great theatre - Reading Rep is only responding to audience demand."

Reading Rep is in residency at Reading College's performing arts centre, giving it a flexible 60-seat studio space just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The season has been supported by Reading Borough Council, the National Lottery, and Reading College, allowing the theatre to offer tickets to all their shows for only £10 each. Call 0118 3750 280, or visit www.readingrep.com to book.
