Winter has certainly arrived and aside from freezing temperatures, we're to expect snow, wind and rain; so the usual British Christmas really! Well, not to worry, as The Firestation has a host of events to keep you warm and entertained over the coming weeks.

Big announcements for us include a visit from Jah Wobble of PiL tomorrow (Friday), as he performs hit songs and talks about his career to date, and an exclusive one-night gig from Scritti Politti next Friday. We're hugely excited about these top music acts and hope you are too! Aside from top end music events, we welcome Shappi Khorsandi, Seann Walsh and Richard Herring over the next few weeks - so if you're in the mood for a laugh, I'd suggest booking early as tickets are flying fast! We also have the legendary Jo Brand down in December, so we're continuing to deliver the biggest comedy names throughout the year.

Slightly against trend, we're offering an alternative to the usual panto this year and supplying families with a week of Dear Santa. This new live show is adapted from the book by Rod Campbell, renowned for his children's book, Dear Zoo. Not only do you get a great family show, children also get to meet Santa afterwards and receive a free gift.

As ever, we're always looking forward, and aside from a few extra special events yet to be announced, we're locking down our Spring season, which promises to deliver the usual top quality acts. If you haven't joined our mailing list, I'd urge you to do so to ensure you're the first to hear about all the great things we have

coming up!

Until next time, enjoy the holidays and remember, The Firestation is the only place to be!
