BILL Bailey, comedian, musician, eccentric and hairy king of wacky hilarity, is returning to Reading's Hexagon next year with his bafflingly-titled new show, Qualmpeddler. KING Of The Mic is back, and some of the hottest talents in the area are jostling to show the quality of their lyrical flow at the competition on Thursday, November 29. Up for the title from the Reading area are CarlyB, who describes herself as "soulful, sweet, funky, and influenced by Katy B and Rihanna" and Silqe, so-called because of his "strong intelligent lyrics quantified eloquently".
The rappers will take to the mic at South Hill Park, Bracknell, and the winner will snap up £200, a photo and video shoot, plus free studio time, as well as support and promotion from organisers Raw Linx. On the night there will also be performances from Mr Faizer, 2011 winner Sabrina Bell, 2010 winner MCX, Mister ST and Gibbo. SETTLE into the spectacular setting of Reading University's Great Hall for the first full concert of Reading Symphony Orchestra's 2012-2013 season.
