Windsor Fringe brings all kinds of delights to town

WINDSOR Fringe Festival returns to the Royal town from tomorrow (Friday), with a 'weird, wild and varied' programme for all tastes, until Sunday, October 7.
After the Fringe launch tomorrow (Friday) night, there will be a double dose of magic for all ages when Spook Circus, an eerie children's magic show, and Spirit Sideshow, a spooky sideshow strictly for adults, bring a touch of the ghostly to The Firestation For Arts And Culture, in St Leonard's Road, on Saturday. Tickets are £5/£6 for Spooks Circus and £7 for Spirit Sideshow.
On Sunday, enjoy a Gameskeeper's Walk in Windsor Great Park, 10am, £6. For something a little less energetic, pop into Alma Road Social Club on Monday for the stunning Bob Dylan 'biopic' I'm Not There. It's at 8pm and costs £6 or £10 for two.
And if all that leaves you feeling a little parched, why not take a tour of Windsor And Eton Brewery (back by popular demand!) on Tuesday? Tours run at 7pm and 8.15pm and cost £5. For dramatic types, a reinterpretation of Romeo And Juliet, inspired by the heavy metal subculture that is so often used as a scapegoat for youth violence, is being staged by East Berkshire College - expect family feuds, gangland violence and heartache. It's at 8pm on Tuesday, £5/£6.
on Friday next week Africa Entsha, The Magical Voices Of Southern Africa, will be bringing the Children of Soweto's message of hope and happiness to Alma Road Social Club in a breathtaking show at 8pm, costing £10.
Find out if beekeeping is the hobby for you with a talk at Gardeners' Hall on Saturday, next week at 11am for £3. Enjoy some consoling, encouraging and inspiring verse at a poetry night at The Windsor Trooper on Sunday, next week at 7.30pm, entry is £6, or experience the magic of The Amorous Flute And Soft Guitar during a concert in the dungeon of The Curfew Tower at Windsor Castle, on Friday, October 5.
There is also a wide programme of exhibitions and open houses taking place during the festival.
