The Reading Festival Of Weather, Art And Music
Crowthorne artist Christine Holley, right, is among nine Berkshire artists whose work will be on show as part of the Weather, Art And Music Festival (WAM) at Reading Town Hall and Forbury Gardens this Jubilee Weekend.
The festival is believed to be the first of its kind, with a wide range of interactive events for all ages celebrating Reading's position as a global centre of meteorology and its rich artistic and musical heritage. Events include Saturday night's Gala Jubilee Cosmos recital featuring guest of honour Sir John Madejski, Climate Change Question Time, art workshops and The big Jubilee Picnic in Forbury Gardens on Sunday.
