AMANDA Parker from Harmans Water and her trampolining partner Kat Driscoll won gold in the women's synchro event at the World Championships in Sofia at the weekend.

It is a phenomenal achievement for the pair, who have won medals in every synchro competition they have ever entered.

Parker, who trains at Bracknell Trampoline Centre based at Brakenhale School, said:"Words can hardly describe how we feel." There was also success for Pinewood Gymnastic Club tumblers Lucie Colebeck and Yasmin Taite who won bronze in the team event.

The GB women's tumbling team qualified for the final in second place, with Taite being the first to tumble, performing well to post 31.600.

Rachel Letsche was next up with a brilliant pass to score 34.100.

Seventeen-year-old Coleback had the pressure of competing last and scored 32.300 for a team total of 98.000 which secured bronze.
