GREAT Hollands Bowls Club are holding an open day on Monday from 11am.
Newcomers are welcome and free lessons in bowls from experienced club coaches will be available.
Woods will be supplied, though participants must wear flat shoes or trainers.
Refreshments will be available in the clubhouse along with a barbecue.

- SUNNINGDALE Bowling Club held their annual Presidents v Captains exhibition match recently.
The Captains team won by a narrow margin of 83-79 with a top rink of Archie Clifton, Margaret Ward and Don Alston(skip).
President Alf Chell, Adrian Thomas and Mike Thompson (skip) led the way for the opposition.
Sunningdale will be holding a ‘Try Bowls’ Day’ on their Whitmore Lane green this Saturday between 11am and 4pm.
Again, flat-soled shoes are a must, but all other equipment and training will be provided.
