SOUTH Berkshire men went goal crazy as they put West Hampstead 2nds to the sword with a 7-3 MBBO Regional Two victory on Saturday, writes Richard Ashton.

Mike Baylis and Daniel Ray both helped themselves to hat-tricks – the latter taking his seasonal tally to 16 goals – while Connor Eatwell added the other.

Lucas Birrell-Gray bagged a brace for the visitors, with Ashley Dawes also on target.

Sixth-placed South Berkshire welcome Marlow 2nds to Cantley Park this coming Saturday (noon).

Sean Hardingham and Paul Kaplanski netted for South Berkshire 2nds as they earned a 2-2 draw at Abingdon to all but secure a sixth-placed finish in MBBO Division Two. Will Trigg and Will Green were the Oxfordshire side’s scorers.

South Berkshire 3rds ended their Division Three season on a sorry note as they were obliterated 6-1 at home by Aylesbury 2nds.

Mark Bowes, Christian Collins, Dan Inkley, Douglas Kershaw, Matt Kiely and Jorell Pascal were all on the scoresheet for the away side, with Richard Wallace collecting the South Berkshire consolation.

Division Eight West title hopefuls South Berkshire Terriers remain second after battling to a 3-1 victory against Oxford Hawks 7ths.

Fourth-placed South Berkshire Ladies were beaten 3-1 at Oxford 3rds in Premier One of the Trysports Three Counties League.

Kate Pugh, Suzanne Williams and Katrina Ormiston got the goals for the home side.

South Berkshire end their campaign with a trip to Oxford 2nds this coming Saturday.

In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds finished second bottom despite winning their final game 4-2 at home to Henley 2nds.

South Berkshire 3rds remain ninth in the Division Three standings after beating Abingdon 2nds 4-2, Sandra Dodington, Sofia Reina and Lyndall Davitt among the goalscorers.

South Berkshire 4ths are still second in the Division Five table following a straight-forward 5-0 success at Thame 3rds.

Alison Dowling, Lisa Cameron, Cordelia Dowling, Hannah Sayers and Amy Chodorowski were on the scoresheet for South Berkshire, who sit two points behind Wycombe 4ths but with a game in hand.
