Following the regional team qualifier competition in Eastleigh, Crowthorne-based Washindi Trampoline Club boasts 12 podium places and the most competitors in the southern region progressing through to the regional team finals.

In the NDP 2 9-10 girls category, Tamsin Reddyhough finished third on the podium, just missing out on a place in the regional team.

Going through to the finals in second place is Alex Pohja in NDP 2 11-12 boys.

Meanwhile, Ewan Bolt, Harry Slatter, Owen Whittall, Kofi Elhagaggi, Lauren Nield, Kips Finney, Thomas Hue, Masha Danilova and Russell Cooper all came away with gold medals after finishing in their age and gender categories.

It means they all earn a place in the team finals.

Out of the 31 gymnasts who got through to the competition, the Washindi had 27 who hit the score to qualify throughout all age and level categories, creating a strong team for the club to take to the southern region team competition in December.

A Washindi Trampoline Club spokesman said: "All the coaches would like to recognise the hard work and dedication their members continue to put into their training, and we look forward to the National League and English Championships competitions commencing in April.”
