In MBBO Division Eight East, South Berkshire 5ths lost a thrilling game 4-3 at home to Milton Keynes Samurai, but South Berkshire Terriers kept their Division Eight West title hopes alive with an emphatic 6-0 demolition of Phoenix & Ranelagh 3rds.

South Berkshire Ladies climbed up to fourth in the Trysports Three Counties League Premier One table with a 4-0 home success against second-bottom Oxford University 2nds.

South Berkshire travel to Maidenhead 2nds on Saturday.

In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds remain one place and five points clear of the drop zone despite losing 1-0 at home to Witney 2nds, while in Division Three, South Berkshire 3rds battled to a creditable 2-2 draw at Henley 3rds. Lyndall Davitt and Jess Morgan – from a penalty corner – were the visiting side’s goalscorers.

Division Five table-toppers South Berkshire 4ths were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Banbury 5ths.
